Hi, I'm Susan. I'm a Realtor with 25+ years in real estate serving Hamilton County and Boone County, and this page is where I get to tell you my story, my way: how I got here, what I do differently, and who I am when the day is done. Pull up a chair.
From retail to real estate.
I didn't start out in real estate. My first professional life was in marketing and retail buying and promotion, and I spent more than 25 years in that world before I ever handed someone a business card as a Realtor. That background gave me something I still lean on every single day: a unique, entrepreneurial edge.
Retail taught me how to understand what people want, how to present something so it feels irresistible, and how to move the story forward when things get complicated. Those are the exact skills that help a home sell, and they're the exact skills that help a buyer see the home that's right for them, not just the one in front of them.
I bring that same creativity to every deal. When the usual approach doesn't fit, I find another way. That's why I love using strategies like off-market searches, tracking down homes for my clients that never hit the public listings. Sometimes the right answer isn't the obvious one, and I genuinely enjoy the hunt.
What I do differently.
I don't treat any two clients the same way, because no two moves are the same. What I bring to every one of them is creativity. I focus on strategies like off-market searches that most buyers and sellers never even know exist, and I'm not afraid to think around a problem instead of just pushing through it.
I also hold specialized credentials in the two places where moves get hard: senior relocation, as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and negotiation, as a Certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (CREN). Those aren't wall decorations. They're the training I rely on when a transaction is emotional, complicated, or both. And I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of real estate, the financing snag, the inspection surprise, the timing crunch. That's where I earn my keep, and I like it that way.
I serve Hamilton County, including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and Westfield, plus Zionsville and Whitestown in Boone County. Six communities, each with its own market, its own schools, and its own rhythm. I know the difference, and so will you.

Real estate is what I do, but it's not all of who I am. When I step away from showings and closings, I'm Mimi: a proud grandmother who loves every minute she gets with her grandkids. That's the name they call me, and it's the role I'm happiest in.
I'm an avid snow skier. Give me a mountain, a clear day, and a pair of skis, and I'm a happy woman. I'm also a horse owner, and there's something about being around horses that keeps your feet on the ground and your head clear.
And I'm a DIY enthusiast who genuinely loves home renovation. I've swung a hammer, peeled wallpaper, and painted more rooms than I can count. That means when we talk about what your home needs before it hits the market, I'm not handing you a checklist I read somewhere. I've done the work myself, and I know what's worth doing.
I think those pieces of me are exactly why the process feels so human with me. Because it is. You're not hiring a company. You're hiring a person, one who happens to be really, really good at real estate.
